Basilicata is also home to several nature reservations including the National Park of Pollino, the National Park of the Agri Valley, the Regional Park of Gallipoli Cognato, the Dolomites Park and the Regional park of Murgia Materana. The most popular seaside resorts are those in Maratea, on the coast of the Tyrrhenian Sea, and Metaponto, Scanzano Jonico, Policoro, Pisticci and Nova Siri on the Ionian coast.
