Treviso The province of Treviso is largely flat with some mountainous areas to the North of the province including Mount Grappa, Col Visentin, and the Montello hill. There are many rivers and lakes in the province, including the Piave river and Lake Morto, Lake of Revine Lago, Lake Restello and Lake Santa Maria. Treviso also has many nature reserves such as the Regional Park of the Sile Mountains, the Piaie Longhe-Millifret Nature Reserve and the Campo di Mezzo-Pian di Parrocchia Nature Reserve. The province has a beautiful landscape (the Prosecco hills, the Montello and Consiglio woods, and peaceful plains) which is dotted with medieval villages housing beautiful monuments. The largest municipalities of the province are: Treviso, with its Medieval Museum, Baptistery and bell tower, Paleontological and Archeological Museum, Historic Houses Museum and the Museum of Sacred Artworks; Conegliano, with its famous wine route, 47 kilometers long; Castelfranco Veneto which has a medieval castle with six towers and the Gothic house of Giorgione; Vittorio Veneto which has a cathedral dating back to the 13th century, the St. Martin Castle, and the Museum of Sacred Artworks which houses works by Palma il Giovane and Tiziano; Oderzo which has a late Gothic style Cathedral housings frescoes by Pliny the Younger; Mogliano Veneto, home to many beautiful villas including the Duodo-Trevisanaro Villa, the Tieopolo Villa and the Algarotti Villa.
